Prepare for the unexpected with this engaging, hands-on introduction to wilderness medicine, taught over two days. If you like to take short trips relatively close to medical resources, work at wilderness camps, enjoy weekend family outdoor activities, or recreate outdoors, this course is for you. These skills are also useful for people living rurally with delayed access to EMS, and for natural disasters and emergency preparedness. Age 16+.

We will take a 1 hour lunch break each day.

There is no lodging available for this course. Nearby campgrounds are available at Oak Bay, Fort Townsend, Fort Worden, Lake Leland, and more. Port Townsend, a 20 minute drive from the campsite, has ample hotels, restaurants, and groceries.
